Round two of SteveFest'26. More Triumph and Treachery. I again took the Kislev and Kenton his Night Goblins. Stephen settled on a White Lions of Chrace list.
This time it was the game with points for being near the middle.
Lots of scary looking elves with bows arrived
With some chariots to help out
The vagaries of chance had put me opposite the Night Goblins with the Elves far away at the other end of the board.
Fanatics were soon whizzing about the place
And the Griffon legion decided to see how tough Mangler Squigs are.
Tougher than Griffon Legion it turns out.
In the centre the Kislev infantry closed in.
As the Squig gobbled down the last of the Knights
The Night Goblins attacked, the Kossars countercharged.
The stout men of Kislev stood firm
Having enjoyed one lot of tasty horse flesh the Mangler decided to eat some more
As the Squigs devoured some archers
The Night Goblins were being whittled away
High Elf axemen trudged across the board.
The White Lion chariot thumped into the Night Goblin archers.
Morgan Freeman voice: This did not end well for the Night Goblins
More horses were being Mangled
The bulk of the Elf force had not made it into combat
And as the battle ended the halberdiers cutting down the Goblin Deathstar meant I had the biggest paychest!
Urrrah! for Kislev!
Great fun game with all the usual T&T chaos and backstabbing.
