Wars of the Roses Percy Archers

I wanted to paint some more troops for our St Albans game and so fettled these Percy archers.

Lovely Perry plastic miniatures.
As it happened James had more than enough Northumbrians for the game, so these didn't see the table and are therefore still waiting for their inevitable first battle poor performance.

Easterlings for War of the Ring

Ploughing on with finishing off some GW Lord of the Rings models, just in case we ever decide to play WotR.
Couple of drummers, converted (I think) using Orc metal drums and plastic Easterlings. Built and undercoated about ten years ago. Finished off this weekend.

Khand Warriors for War of the Ring

Steven is convinced that War of the Ring is the second greatest wargame ever written (Warhammer being the first, obvs.)
As General Ballroom is not implacably opposed to WotR in the way he has retroactively convinced himself he is to Warhammer there's a chance we might be able to play this as part of the Sherwood Hucknall Ilkeston team.
I actually have quite a large force of Easterlings that I painted when the game came out.
And so inspired by talk of a game I went looking for some part finished models I could polish off and ta-dah! eight Khand are now ready to wage war.

They had been undercoated and some highlights brushed on but all the red armour and the flesh is newly done. Bish, bash, bosh.
