For Day Two of SteveFest '26 we had planned to play a four player Battle March Tournament. However Spandex decided he's rather go to Lincolnshire to play banjo and give high sixes to his family than ride the hovercraft to the Island of Manly Men.
Stephen and Kenton were still keen to give Battle March a go so I sort of umpired and they played out a 750 point game.
Stephen got out his Cathay force
A convincing win for the Cathay forces.
750 points of Battle March seemed a bit "big" really. Stephen managed to get a flying monster, artillery and plenty of magic into his force, so we were left wondering what made it different from a game of Warhammer? It was a bit faster, but not massively so. I think 600 is a better point total for BM, forcing you to choose what to include and, because of the reduced numbers of models and rules, playing quicker.
Experiment over we decided to go back to T&T for the last match of the weekend...
