General Ballroom and I continue our Lord of the Rings campaign, playing through all the scenarios in order. With the hobbits having escaped Farmer Maggot and his dogs and then fled from some Ringwraiths (assisted by Gildor) they were now heading for the Buckleberry Ferry with the Nazgul closing in!
So all you have to do is get from the hedge, on to the boat and across the river...
Woooooooo!
Scary...
The four hobbits lurked in the woods
Then formed a conga line to head for the ferry as the Wraiths blundered about
The Nazgul follow the rules for sentries, which means over half the time General B was able to move them in the wrong direction.
At one point the Wraiths came perilously close to spotting the hobbits!
So the little folk were forced to split up.
But Sam, Merry and Frodo all sneaked past the still searching spirits and made for the ferry.
Swiftly they leapt aboard.
Leaving poor Pippin alone in the woods to make his own way to safety...
Another win then for the hobbits. Albeit only by abandoning their friend!
Fortunately he managed to catch up with them overnight and joined them again the next day as they set off through the forest.
A weird and fearsome forest that decided to attack them.
Drone footage shows the hobbits at one side of the woods - just walk across there lads...
Soon the trees began to close in, thwacking vainly at hobbits.
The four friends made a dash for it.
The trees began to close in
Soon the stout wee fellows were surrounded on all sides and gradually all knocked unconscious, save for the Ringbearer who managed to scamper free.
Finally, a game I didn't lose. Not one where I was playing using the all powerful Ringwraith servants of the dark Lord. One where I had some trees.
The hobbits now get a chance to rest up and recover before the next round of adventures - for which I need to did out my barrows!
