Frostgrave: The Living Museum

Emboldened after their escapade with the Well of Dreams and Sorrows the three warbands once more clashed in the ruins of Felstad.

Valerie d'Horlage was at the biggest disadvantage - with a wounded archer and no money to buy replacements she set out with a motley band of thugs and thieves and a single crossbowman.

Fiery Colin added a Marksman to his crew - to take full advantage of the magic crossbow he discovered, and Al-An Partridj summoned Barbra-Ian the Barbarian to join his evil quest.

We placed seven treasures this time and then ran out of statues. So decided the central one should be the large Stone Construct. This may have been a bit bold in retrospect.

The museum - inanimate statues await...

Al-An in his new appropriately dark clothing.

Burning Wilson arrives with the Elemental Massive.

"Barn Door" Bates takes up position

"Oi, are you alive?"

Al-An's Knight heads for the Chrono Crew

The Elemental gang push on

Orange blokes everywhere!

An elemental bolt goes astray

Poke, poke, poke!

The thug grabs a treasure

And the thief tries the same

It's all coming to life...

Bundle the statue!

Valerie's lads attempt a heist

While the rest of the gang looks on

Barbra-Ian gets stuck in

"Hello little man"

The thug spots rats to the rear!

Clubby Braithwaite makes a break for it

Over there you fools!

Torchy Jones hides from the rats.

Send a Marksman to do a thug's job

Barbra takes on Wilson - and comes off worst!

Bit of Zombie disco

"Ow, gerroff! Pesky rats!"

A splendidly chaotic and murderous game.

Once again almost all my party was killed. The good news - almost all of them came back to life. The bad news- my apprentice was the sole fatality.

Fortunately I escaped with a treasure, so I will probably have enough to buy a new one.

The boys are hoping for the Worm hunt next.

  1. My one play of Living Museum was a bloodbath. Really good scenario for Telekinesis!

  2. Nice game...I like Valerie too! Frostgrave and similar fantasy skirmishes make a nice change from historical sites sometimes!
