Warmaster Skink Spawning Pool

 Warmaster Mondays have featured Alan's Lizardmen and mostly taken place in my jungle terrain. That was built for 28mm games, but a jungle is a jungle - the trees just get bigger, right? However if we're going to play a few games I thought I ought to make some effort to get some more scale appropriate terrain.

So here's a test piece Skink spawning pool

It's lino time for the base, another piece of lino for the surface of the water and some cork offcuts for the pool edges, scuffed up and scored to look like stone slabs.
Yacht varnish has given the water a nice deep shine (which doesn't show up too well in the pictures!)

And here we see a Daemon and his henchmen arriving to despoil the pool!

Though I'll be hoping for a decent instability roll and a good leadership test if that single stand are going to do anything!.

Happy with this, so I'll make a few more, then think about some buildings or ruins (and a pyramid eventually, obviously)
