And so to the final game. Usually every Warmaster Tournament I go to I end up playing regular opponent Alan. Only Alan couldn't make it this time, so instead in game three I ended up playing regular opponent Andy with his Wood Elves. Which was all good with me.
The table was ludicrously scenery heavy. The organisers were experimenting with ways to reduce the (IMO entirely fictitious) perceived dominance of heavy cavalry in the game. It certainly had the effect of making my Kislev army quite hard to use, though I'm not sure that was the intention.
How much terrain is too much terrain...?










That is definitely an overcrowded battlefield. Going out on a limb here and talking history, but armies wanted open terrain to fight in. They would not offer battle if they felt the terrain offered the defense to great an advantage. That you still had fun is what matters most.
