Warhammer the Old World: Dwarfs and Night Goblins

Kenton came over for a game nearly a month ago and I've only just remembered to post the pictures.

We had a Warhammer pitched battle, the details of which mostly escape me - but it looked grand

Clan Groznog takes to the field

Oh. A big ol' Squig

Lots o' little boingy buggers

And a lot of Trolls.

Night Goblin archers take to the hill

I was shooting crossbows at the big Squig

Boingy, boingy, boing!

The cannon misbehaved

As  did the Flame Cannon. And so the green tide came on.

Bouncing ever nearer

As their cackling brethren urged them on.

the thunderers looked down from th hills.

As the Ironbreakers stood firm

And the Longbeards prepared a welcome for Trolls.

Crunch.

The Big Squig went after the crossbows

And the littler ones went hunting Rangers

Fanatics everywhere

the Longbeards were taking pain, but taking down Trolls too

Finally the Night Goblins pushed up

The Big Squigs ate the cannon.

And the little 'uns ate the Organ Gun

Clan Groznog warriors did their best to avoid whirling death.

The Longbeards finally dealt with the Trolls]

The Flame Cannon finally belched forth flame. Killing one boingybastard.

Hmmmm I love the smell of Roast Squig in the morning.

Sadly they boinged on into the Longbeards.

The Larger of the small Boingers took on the BSB.

Finally the Ironbreakers made it into combat - and proper handed it out.

But the game was up and the Greenskins had grund out a victory

Great fun to play, even if the rules get no easier to make sense of!

Bonus phone pictures:

Th first casting roll of the game.
