Not sure yet. I am a slow reader, and my comprehension (of rules at any rate) is limited until I've played a few games. However on first glance I'd say it's apples and oranges. The strength of Britanniarum is in the "narrative" elements - the pre-game force building and ongoing campaign. For Bellorum I think it's main strength is it's simple mechanics - meaning you can get up and playing fast. I'll do some sort of review in a bit when I've read more and maybe played a game or two.
