Many Rivers to Cross

I've had this river set for years. I painted some parts of it a few years ago but made some time to finish off the unfinished bits

They're a bit basic and the newly painted ones don't quite match the ones I painted a few years ago, but I'm happy to have them finished.

Warmaster Buildings

Added a few more 10mm buildings to the Warmaster collection

A few Zombies looking for a des res

Then a couple more from the pile from Warmaster 25 that I'll add to our tournament scenery collection

Give me a sign!

From the old Warhammer Fences set I think.
Been sat around part painted for a long time - flavourful bit of scatter

Warmaster cottages

I ended up with several of the Warmaster Cottages from Wargamer Minis after the WM25 event. We'll add them to our scenery collection for future Warmaster Tournaments, so I speed painted these two.

Very jolly and quick to do

Warmaster Graveyard

A few years ago at Wormaster I was given a small pack containing some Warmaster gravestones and chapels.

They're from Cromarty Forge - part of a larger set of STLs I think

The walls I made from cork board. I kept them separate so they can be moved to allow model placement.

The base is a simple square of MDF covered with sand and painted brown.

I based the graves on plasticard so they can be moved around

Some of the inhabitants keeping the riff-raff out.

Warmaster House

This was a freebie from the Warmaster 25 event last year.

Bish, bash, bosh! Basecoat and wash!

Here's a video for all the cool hipsters reading this:

From Wargamer Minis - but can't see them on the website/

Warmaster Forgeworld Castle

Inspired by Andy bringing his lovely Bretonnians over I dug deep into the darkest corers of my stash and recovered a venerable old Forgeworld castle model that I was given many years ago when I worked at GW for helping set up the original UK version of the website and store.

This was a short lived range when Forgeworld was set up and they were I believe licenced from a company called Lilliput Lane and were part of their range for the Irish tourist board of Castles of Ireland.

This one I think after a bit of Googling is Blackrock Castle in Cork.

It's a big old chunk of resin, the scale is wrong and it's also clearly a modernised, Victorian version of a castle rather than a fantasy  medieaval chateau. However it looks mighty fine and was pretty easy to paint up so I'm jolly pleased with it as a centrepiece,or more likely edge "set dressing" for Warmaster games.

I am slightly tempted to try and make some of those French style pointy tower tops to add to see if that gives a better Bretonnian vibe - but that's for another day.

Lord of the Rings Ruins

Some ruins from the original Games Workshop Lord of the Rings game box.

Simple drybrush paintjob. No idea why it's taken me over 20 years to get them painted.

Warmaster Fences

Some more simple scenery to break up the table in games of Warmaster

A sight no farmer wants to wake up to

They're simple and cheap MDF sets from Pendraken/Red Vectors

Warmaster linear obstacles

I found these the other day in my leadpile when hunting for more Warmaster Dark Elves and thought I could bash them out pretty quickly. So that's what I did.

Old metal sculpts from way back in the day. Ideal for stopping chariots and giving infantry a fighting chance.
