Shadespire

Steve is indisposed this week so I pottered alone over to Geeneral Ballroom's place for a game.

He's painted all the models from GWs new miniatures boardgame Shadespire, so that's what we played.

Despite my initial concern that I was being tricked into playing Age of Sigmar it was a good fun little game.

General B has painted the models beautifully, although I have to say that the aesthetic of the GW fantasy ranges leaves me pretty cold.

The mechanics of the game seemed quite simple, though I imagine skilled players will beat inexperienced players very easily.
