So I dug out the recently painted scenery and my Orks whilst they assembled their forces. We were aiming for 750 points each, apparently. I've got about 500 I think, but took what I had. Despite my pointing out that 40K works best as a 1v1 game they insisted on a three way battle.
And then ganged up on me and said the game was over when I was dead.
Hmmmm.
Anyway here are a few pictures.
Fire Dragons dismount and prepare to melt stuff
Painting is apparently a thing other people do
Pile on!
The Ork last stand
I'm tempted to try and paint a few more Ork boys and get the buggies painted up.
Great to see the spirit of co-operation that gaming instils in young folks! ;)
ReplyDeleteChildren can be harsh .....just roll over
ReplyDeleteThat's the spirit of 40k right there, in one glorious one-sided curb-stomp by offspring against their progenitor. Brings a tear to the eye :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun. How old are they, can I ask? Counting down to when I can start playing with my two.
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only patricide.

They're ten and twelve. We've been messing with soldiers since the eldest was around 7 or 8, but this year he's joined the wargames club at school (where 40K is the only game in town)
