However as preparation I made these simple arrow counters.
In the game you can only shoot six times with your bow units, so you need a visually appealing way of tracking that as well as a way of making sure you don't just pick up the dice.
These are simple dice frames and micro dice from Pendraken, glued to a 1p along with some of the spare arrows from the Perry WotR sets.
Not an original idea of mine - in fact the rather lovely Billhooks Deluxe rulebooks show Captain Bloods altogether better painted examples.
