Lion Rampant Retinue (9)
I applied washes to the coats of the first batch of archers (I could only fit two washes in my bag).
And I painted most of the basecoats on the next six.

Interesting series of posts; thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat were the two washes, please? I am a beginner painter :0)
Thrakka Green and Gryohonne sepia.
ReplyDeleteBoth now discontinued Citadel washes.
But GW will have some equivalents. Or Army Painter do some.

Nice job Tom. The GW archers really are pretty nice figures!
ReplyDeleteThe buff and green is a subtle combination ;-)
Happy W
You made quick work of those bowmen!
ReplyDeleteLooking good - the colors are a great choice.
ReplyDeleteThanks
ReplyDeleteThat's a green wash and a brown one then? :0)
Brown would probably be a bit dark.
DeleteA softer, warmer beige sort of colour :)
I think the new GW one is Seraphim Sepia.
Soft Tone is I think the army painter one

Thanks for the help. I will pop into GW tomorrow.
