Lion Rampant Retinue (9)

I applied washes to the coats of the first batch of archers (I could only fit two washes in my bag).

And I painted most of the basecoats on the next six.

Tonight is Leather Night (calm down ladies) when I'll try and get all the belts and pouches done.

  1. Interesting series of posts; thanks for sharing.
What were the two washes, please? I am a beginner painter :0)

  2. Thrakka Green and Gryohonne sepia.
    Both now discontinued Citadel washes.
But GW will have some equivalents. Or Army Painter do some.

  3. Nice job Tom. The GW archers really are pretty nice figures!

The buff and green is a subtle combination ;-)

    1. Brown would probably be a bit dark.
A softer, warmer beige sort of colour :)
I think the new GW one is Seraphim Sepia.
Soft Tone is I think the army painter one
