I suspect the sculptor, whilst undoubtedly talented with 3D design tools had never made Wargames figures before. What looked detailed in the digital renders hasn't translated to the tool. Plus some errors with the joins - the waist and next should both have been ball and socket - and poor equipment choices mean overall they're a miss IMO. Contrast paints means they're quicker to paint than assemble though, so I'll finish them off into OGAM units.
They look ready for the table. Some of the contrast colors really work well and give a quick finish you can game with.
ReplyDeleteThey look great
ReplyDeleteNot too bad (painting is lovely) but the sculpts are not really up to modern standards ?
