At the Warmaster Winter Warmer chum Alan very kindly gifted me the start of a Vampire Counts army. Not an army I'd ever have considered myself and I need more Warmaster armies like I need a hole in the head but on the other hand the models are absolutely gorgeous sculpts from Forest Dragon.
I resisted for a while, but then chat on the drive back from Wormaster got me musing on trying to paint a Warmaster Army as quickly as possible using speed paints and dry-brushing and corner cutting.
So I gave these ones a try. And the Aethermatic Blue Contrast paint I used took longer to dry than it did to apply. And basing was the longest part of the whole process. So now I just need to find quick ways to do the rest of the army...
Will they win any prizes? No. Do they look serviceable from a distance? Yes. Were they quick? Very.
Let's see where this takes us...
