Stephen and I got out two different armies for a change.
I've not used the Daemons for a while and Stephen's High Elves are a work in progress (like many late edition GW models, they're very "busy" which makes painting whole armies of them a bit of a chore)
The Daemon Hordes assemble
Gibbering masses of Daemonettes
The Elves await, nervously adjusting their make-up and checking their hair is neat and tidy.
Dragon Princes slipping around the back.
The horde bears down on the Elves.
The Dragon Princes get caught. In retrospect throwing in the Furies was an error.
Screamers lining up for a slash
At last the Kipper goes to work
The Dragon Princes hold out
And are rescued by the Sea Guard
The Masque practices her disco moves
The Sea Guard turn back toward the remains of the Daemons
Ready for another quick slash
The 'nettes go down fighting
Comprehensive victory for the Elves.
The Daemons are a tricksy army - and far too subtle and reliant on combos for my simple mind. I need to use them more regularly if I'm to get the most out of them.
